SET UP INFORMATION

  • PLATE CHARGES
    The printing process is flexography, requiring separated art, metal engravings, and rubber or polymer plate. All designs, logos and/or straight line copy will incur plate charges. Plate charges are listed on estimated basic charge, actual costs may very. Please add an extra one inch to each side of the artwork before calculating overall square inches for the plate estimated.

  • CALCULATE PLATE CHARGES
    Separate the artwork size into colors and number of sides.
    Each color is considered to be a plate. (i.e. 2 colors with 2 sides = 4 plates)
    Measure the length and width of your artwork individually and calculate using the costs below.

  • STOCK FOILS:
    Metallic: Gold, Silver, Copper, Browne, Red, Blue, Green, and Purple.
    Non Metallic: Black, White, Ivory, Brown, Dark Green, Bright Yellow, and Red.

    • IMPORTANT: Certain hot stamp foils are not compatible with some paper surfaces (especially kraft).
    We will suggest alternatives only if necessary to achieve a quality job.

  • COMPUTER GENERATED ARTWORK.
    The following requirements must be met when submitting artwork on computer disk

    1. Hard copy output from disk, indicating color breakdowns must be submitted.

    2. The Artwork must be done in vector file,
    ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR 11 or earlier,
    CORAL DRAW 11 or earlier.
    and Macromedia Freehand 8.0 or earlier.
    For bitmap file, minimum resolution 600 dpi, and must be exact size of the imprint.
    Color must be separated only.

    3. Typefaces may need to be substituted in some cases unless font is provided or the font are converted to outline.

    4. When floppy disk, zip disk, or cd is supplied, a charge outputs will be incurred.

    5. Avoid combining elements from different programs when creating files, if possible use one program for all the artworks. All image scan or import to ESP file will not be acceptable


    NOTE: Ampaco assumes no responsibility for any loss or damage to any graphic material, delay in production, lost revenue or other consequential damage.
  • PROOFS
    All electronic artwork must will be confirmed before production.

    You are solely responsible for the content of the files submitted and understand that they will be imaged (output) as you have saved them and agree to pay for them, regardless of their content or appearance of the final product.
  • INACTIVE PLATE AND ARTWORK
    Plate and artwork will be kept on file 2 years from the date of order.
  • DESIGN AND DISPLAY TI PS...

    1) Use bold graphics: Avoid small type. The bag is a billboard and should convey an image.

    2) Consider full background "Tints":With reversed out copy for maximum impact.

    3) Display bags prominently: But only in attended areas.  Giving a bag to a trade show attendee gives you a moment to meet a potential customer one-on-one.
